Answering Questions
Dave was led into a small, dimly lit room where the officers bombarded him with questions. They appeared suspicious and believed he was somehow involved with the German Shepherd. Their intense scrutiny made Dave feel as if he were under a microscope, and he wondered what evidence they had against him.
Dave remained steadfast and asserted that he only owned one dog. He recounted the events, hoping to convince the officers of his innocence. However, their doubts persisted, leaving Dave frustrated and stripped of power. He couldn’t comprehend why he was being treated like a suspect when he hadn’t done anything wrong. Despite his earnest efforts to explain the situation, it felt as though things were spiraling out of control.
