13. The USB Logo
The USB logo, a familiar symbol representing the universal standard for peripheral connections, has an intriguing origin. It is based on Poseidon’s trident, with each prong of the trident originally having triangles. The alteration to a circle and a square on two of the prongs was made to represent universality and the wide range of peripherals that can be connected using the USB standard.
