While some DIY military vehicles boast their weaponry, others prefer to remain inconspicuous. In the Middle East, militant groups hide missile launchers inside civilian dump trucks to surprise their enemies. These vehicles, known as improvised rocket-assisted munitions (IRAMS), are filled with makeshift explosive devices concealed within seemingly innocent propane gas tanks. When near their targets, insurgents launch the hidden rockets with devastating effects. This covert design allows for surprise attacks and poses a significant challenge for countermeasures.
