This type of dog is called the “Double Doodle.” It’s not a purebred dog, but a mix of two other breeds: the Labradoodle and the Goldendoodle. Sometimes, it’s made by mixing a Golden Retriever, Poodle, or Labrador Retriever in different ways. This dog is clever, friendly, full of energy, and has a fluffy coat.
Because the Double Doodle is a mix, it’s usually quite healthy and can live around twelve to fifteen years. They don’t often have the same health problems as their purebred parents, which is what the original breeders wanted.
You might also know them as the Golden Labradoodle or the North American Retriever. Despite their fluffy fur, they don’t shed much. They also really enjoy playing fetch. So, if you’re not someone who likes being active and throwing a ball for about an hour, the Double Doodle might not be the right dog for you.
