11. Utahraptor : The Giant Killer
Utah Raptor, the larger cousin of the famous velociraptors, roamed the Earth 125 million years ago. Standing up to 18 feet long, this birdlike dinosaur had a deadly arsenal of weapons, including a 15-inch retractable claw on each foot. With a running speed of up to 30 mph, it was a swift and agile predator. While fossilized feathers haven’t been found with Utah Raptor bones, scientists believe it had feathers based on related species. The combination of its size, speed, and lethal claws made Utah Raptor a fearsome and efficient killer.
